I still can't believe the game could miss this generation. I hope it doesn't miss the next one. That would suck!

A few things:

Terrible article with no credibility. Nothing suggests that KH 3 is even being thought of at this point. It's a shame that Square Enix hasn't done anything at this point in the PS3's life cycle.
Also, we can bet that KH 3 WILL be multi-plat, it's almost assured with pressure from Nintendo, and the $$$ with the 360. In any case, I wouldn't care as long as the game is fun.

Lastly, the only good points made in the article were the worries that Disney will put Star Wars in the game. The Pirates of the Caribbean world in KH 2 was awful and stuck out like a sore thumb. If KH 3 has ANY Star Wars in it, I will not play the game. What KH needed and needs is more Final Fantasy influence than anything.

So, let's hope someone gets their act together and may be we can have some closure on KH 3, and maybe the story itself.

If they don't start development soon it won't even make it out on PS4. It will take at least 3 years to do a proper, full-scale AAA Kingdom Hearts for a next-gen system.

Who cares at this moment? There have been so many pseudo-sequels in too many different platforms that the already convoluted plot has been twisted into its own monstrosity. It's not entirely fun playing a RPG that is a sequel to plot-heavy predecessors, especially when that RPG comes out much later than the previous games and the story is such a mess noone understands it or much cares to anymore.

And this is coming from someone who loved the first Kingdom Hearts but already couldn't push himself to finish the second one.

Yeah because that worked out wonderfully for Final Fantsy XIII and its sequels.....
