I dont believe even for a second that anybody playing this game at night in a dark room was not on the edge of their seat when they went into the nursery for the first time. That whole scene imo was one of the greatest moments this year in gaming. And the ensuing escape topped it off perfectly. Not every scene hits that high, but enough of them come close to justify a purchase from any survival horror fan that owns the console.
The graphics suck, yeah, but this is a case of them being good enough. Not every game needs insane effects and physics to be good, sometimes you need just enough looks to match the incredible brains underneath. That, imo, is this game.
