here's the truth: sales aint gonna make me enjoy the beast that is gonna be "The last of Us" any more or any less.

Maybe the contestants in Miss Universe 2013 should speak about world gaming/console war peace instead of just world peace.

I should have a word with Donald Trump.

I'm not talking only about sales, I'm also talking about the level of excitement for these two GOW titles, which is much less than what should be and what was the case with their third main entries.

Simply put.. they have a lot of competition.. I say wait and see.. who knows.. you may not even think they are the best games of the year.. once the year ends..

I think The Last of Us will flatten both, if Nautghy Dog doesn't mess up with it, that is.

By the time summer rolls around, both GoW series will be pretty much forgotten about, while everyone will be knee deep in GTAV and still talking about Bioshock Infinite and The Last of Us.

So yeah, nobody will really forget about the upcoming war between the two "War" series because they won't care about it to begin with!

xbox oweners, for the last 3 years they've had 1.2 games per year to be excited about.

ps oweners have had variety. for example i game for the most part on my ps3 and i don't really care about GOWA.

"The Last of Us" will definitely be 2013's Best Current Gen Console Exclusive. Gears will probably sell more in the short run and "God of War" more in the long run.

As a Gears and God Of War fan, I hope it's a better battle than the preorders are suggesting. When gears is getting dominated by GOW in the Usa, they're might be problems.

*there.  Also considering that is in the US where 360 has a 15m lead in install base to sell to I don't see how Gears will open as strongly as people suggest in relation to GoW.  Hopefully the SP in GoW doesn't suffer from the team having to develope another mode.
