Its amazing, but IMO its not quite that amazing, but glad you love it! What made it better than them games for you?

I loved the bosses, the level designs and the character dev. so much more than the other 2 games. I also just loved the setting in the sky even though there weren't a lot of exploration which is the only down part of the game. It was just such a memorable experience for me that it was hard not to put it #1 :P.

I don't remember there being negative reception for SS, I mean the art style took some getting used to at e3 '10 but other than that I think it's been all positive (which is justified, minus some derp boss designs).

SS imo is the best LoZ game ever. Mainly because I cared for those character and the story in a way that I never did in a LoZ game before it.

hate is a strong word, IMHO its not the best Zelda out there, I thought TP was much better, hell SS is probably the weakest of the 3d Zeldas IMHO.

But for this thread I'll say why I did not like Skyward Sword in brief:
Low enemy variety
Too bright color scheme
Weak story
Empty overworld/poor nighttime practicality

I LOVE this game, one of the best games played in last 5 years. N.1 with Okami.
Good motion controls, fantastic dungeons, I've been enchanted by the hystory and... Zelda is cool.

Skyward Sword is one of the AWESOME-IST games on Wii and in 2011 and in the Zelda Series.

it's in the top 5 games i have played this gen.

1. red dead redemption
2. Mass effect 2
3. Skyward sword
4. Uncharted 2
5. Skyrim

SS had its problem.
-too many fetch quests
-lack of exploration
-some control issues,

But it had some of the best boss battles, dungeons and imagination (talking about the time stones) in the series. I have high hopes for the wii u release of zelda.



Bet with ninjablade:

Ninjablade wins if the next 5 multiplat on the wii u are inferior to the 360 version.

I win if one of the 5 mulitplats are on par or superior on the Wii U.

I hated constantly having to recalibrate. There's nothing Nintendo could have done to fix it since it is an inherent problem with the Wii sensor bar's range (pretty much the only thing the PS Move improves on the Wii remote) other than to dramatically change the controls to something less interesting. Still a fantastic Zelda game.
