Very painful. I broke my right index finger in 8th grade (I was 13 I think).

Not a very fun day.

How did you break it? When my left ring finger broke I didn't feel anything, nor in the 3 weeks of recovery after the accident

I once got stitches over my eye, at the eyebrow, and couldn't play with my football (soccer) team for 3 weeks. :/

I broke my finger a few weeks ago and finally got it straitened out on Wednesday.  It is my right index finger, so needless to say, I can't do much.  Has anyone else had an injury that prevented them from gaming?

Dislocated thumb once with 12 and some other thing that is hard to explain but needed an operation after i did something probably not so healthy for my hand at work.Don't know - Didn't even feel like it will be an issue till i went to the doctor and he said its needed to do something.

broke my middle, index, and ring finger on my dominant hand when I fell off my scooter(razor) when I was 8 or 9....just played pokemon with one hand until it healed! lol

Playing Basketball, not sure exactly what broke my finger tho.

I was defending a guy who threw an elbow (not intentionally) and I had my hand up and blocked it (the one where my finger broke).  A small scuffle occurred between all of us, a few of us went down and I ended up getting stepped on.  Got up and couldnt move my finger, it was bent almost completely back on the back of my hand.  I had also broken my knuckle.

Ouch, now I get why it hurt. Gruesome to read. My finger just broke, clean through. Maybe that's why it didn't hurt.

Oh definitely.  I broke my arm at one point, clean break as well.  Much less painful than the finger.  It still hurts from time to time (the finger, not the arm)

Whenever you hear an old man talk about the weather making his old wounds hurt...he isnt kidding :)

I once fractured the fifth metatarsal of my right leg. Google it lol

It wasn't painful, I just tripped and fell, then continued walking. I must have been walking around for ages before it felt painful enough for me to decide to stop and see what was wrong. Walking doesn't really put much pressure on that particular spot where it was fractured anyways.

I broke my hand on the day the PS Vita came out. I was supposed to go round my friend's house and play it so I downplayed the injury, had a very awkward and painful 2 hour session of Uncharted: Golden Abyss and then I went to hospital.

dude you should get a platinum for that! a true fan
