No, but I eat meat anyway because I don't give a shit. Not because I'm an inconsiderate arsehole but because the treatment of animals and actual slaughtering of them never crosses my mind when I take a bite out of that delicious burger or steak.

You can't be serious to have "taste" as an excuse man.

its just as good of an excuse as "killing animals is wrong" to not eat meat

I personally draw the line at eating 'free range' and/or humanely treated animals. Pretty much every point he makes has a counter example which shows that exceptions exist. I've seen half the video but if you're prepared you could refute nearly every point he makes. The points he would have left aren't enough to build a case that everyone should be vegan.

Tease.

This is what I've been trying to say. You've put it so simply and so completely!!

I stopped watching as soon as he mentioned religion. The bloke is a fool. We are natural omnivores, not herbivores. We've got canines for a reason. If we were natural herbivores we wouldn't have them, it's as simple as that. And if Mother Nature has given us the equipment to eat meat then we should do so.

And have you seen the state of the majority of vegans, they tend to look like death warmed up lol.

I'm also in favour of animal testing for medicene because I'd be dead without it. He's quite right to complain about animal testing for other purposes such as cosmetics etc though.

It's not an excuse. I'm not justifying it. I'm saying I don't care because it never crosses my mind unless a thread liek thsi pops up or someone mentions it to me. Even then, I forget in a couple days or an hour because I just think of delicious food when someone says "turkey", and not torture and slaughter. When I buy most of my own food I'll buy free range shit though.

we cant stop eating meat, cuz if we stop animals will increase and they feed on plants , so we wont have anything to eat + IT TASTES GOOD!

Why is killing animals for sustenance a big issue? As long as Humanity has been on Earth we have hunted and killed animals it's never going to change so this issue is really a non issue.

Did you kill the last animal that you have eaten? Did Homo neanderthalensis start Animal-Slavery?

I dont see what you are trying to say.

The human beeing started as a planteater. We should still eat plants. A non issue. yes

Yes, I gutted and fried the fish I caught myself, I've also done the same to other animals is it pleasant? enjoyable? No, is it for most humans? No, but it’s a way of life and has been for thousands of years. BTW did you grow all the vegetables in your last meal?

I'm no, no we didn't, if we weren't meant to eat meat we wouldn't get proteins from it.

In 20-40 years I think "synthetic meat", as in meat basically just grown in a lab will be the norm, putting an end to the slaughter of animals and being just plain old cheaper (no livestock to raise/feed). Potentially lower fat/calorie and easier/faster to cook as well.

I know they are already able to do this today even to an extent, but I mean as in being the norm at the average joe's dinner table.
