Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z Is For PS3 And Xbox 360, Says Spark Unlimited

When Team Ninja unveiled Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z at their Tokyo press conference studio head Yosuke Hayashi avoided saying what console(s) the game was for. It appears Yaiba: Team Ninja Z, a Ninja Gaiden spinoff with zombies, will be for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Spark Unlimited who are developing the game revealed this tidbit in job descriptions for a senior character artist and senior designer.

The game doesn't have a release date, so maybe along side a date, a Wii U announcement will show up? I can see a Wii U announcement showing up. I doubt the game has been in development long.

Too early to tell, and IMO many 3rd parties are still waiting to see how M rated games perform on the WiiU, before they greenlit, or announce some projects for it. Hell, I wouldent be surprised if a Plus version would arrive later to the U and Vita.

My guess is Ninja Gaiden 3 probably bombed on the Wii U (unfortunately). It's not even in the top 15 top downloads when I checked.

The original game's horrific word of mouth probably didn't help much. Unfortunate, because NG3:RE did expand quite well.

I'd rather have a Tenchu Z 2.

Until it gets announced officially..don't assume 'insert any name here' is coming to wiiu. Won't get disappointed that way
