I know this will be a long shot but I need to find out what type of wood my handrailing is because I'm buidling another one next to it and I want to match the wood. I have pics any help would be greatly appreciated it's looking like cherry or maple to me.

Red Oak maybe? It's hard to tell. Could be Cherry. Is it as red as it appears in the picture?

The picture without the flash looks pretty much identical to what it is. 

I'm thinking one or the other, I could be off though:

There is so much variety in wood that it's hard to say for sure. The grain strikes me as oak, though.

Looks to me like light oak.

It's blonde oak.
