Lol. They announced it because it happened, this is Sony, they don't wait a few weeks or months. It's 30m as at 17th December. Clearly.

Overtracked seems the most likely.

VGC Europe numbers are 27.55M, not 28M.

Edit - Nevermind, I see where you are coming from. VGC numbers do not have that extra week yet.

Must be overtracked here. That's a whole lot of countries and if the main countries of Europe count for up to 28m and Australia 1.5m then thers's not a lot of 30m left.
