I bought it! With Mario Kart pre-loaded, I had to bite!

Got myself the 3DS XL and Futureshop included Skylander's Spyro's Adventure Starter Pack for free! Should get it soon within 3 business days.

In total, it cost me 180$ with Mario Kart, 3DS XL and Skylanders. Not bad! I've had the DS Lite since 2006, but how is the 3DS XL? And what games should I buy with my new system?

If yes to all three get KIU and RE revelations 1st
KIU is a fantastic game with great story and multiplayer you can play for months. (only thing is controls but you'll get used 2 it

RE revelation plays as the originals and RE4

Other great titles are SM3DL if you like Mario3D platform, it plays like a 2D also

I dont have this one but if you like Kingdom Hearts giv the 3ds title a chance

Paper Mario SS only if your a fan in the series if not just pass

Titles for next year thats a must is fire emblem!
Luigi Mansion and Animal crossing is very popular. Im getting Luigi for my bro so i'll definitely play.

Also go on the E shop you can try demos!
Give the RE revelations a shot

Wish i had the money to trade my 3DS for a XL with Mario Kart and take advantage of the promotion to download one of 5 games and get Mario 3DLand along with it for free!

I'm thinking getting either Kid Icarus or Kingdom Heart! What do you think?

IMO you have to get Kid Icarus 1st, You wont get bored for a long time and you'll love online play! Get it so KIU pass the mil mark!!!

Fire Emblem is my most anticipated title next year on 3DS

I played a quick round of NSMB2 (at Futureshop, actually) and I thought the 3D effects on the lava level were really cool. Ashes floating in the foreground, volcanos off in the distance. Pretty neat.
