As of now Wii U has been launched for a month. We have some titles we know about on its way and some unannounced (retro studios and monolith soft titles) games! There have been lots of mario spin off games but Mario Kart is so successful and counts as its own franchise. My question now what will be the 1st spinoff to come on the wii u? Mario and Sonic Olympic games count even though its published by sega! Mario kart will be excluded!

Since paper mario came to the handheld (3DS) why not Mario and Luigi Saga come to a home Console? I love the series and we really need a long RPG mario. If i had to pick, i go with the true successor to the SNES mario rpg! Awesome

My guess is that Mario Golf will be next.
3DS already has Paper Mario and mario Kart, so you don`t want to overdo it. Mario Party? After NintendoLand it seems too soon for a mini game, game.
Ok, i didn`t see Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games there...

Golf seems to be a good bet after the announcing videos showed how you can play gold in a different way, so, that might the next spinoff.
If not, Mario Strikers and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games have really good chances of coming next.

Yeah, Mario Golf is due at some point. Toadstool Tour was awesome, but I don't know if I would want motion controls or anything

Motions controls will most likely be there. Maybe even touch controls.
There`s also a chance that they will allow for normal controls. That or they will let you download the GC version to plat again! :)

This poll only reminds me how many iterations of Mario there are .... Crazy, man.

I'm guessing it'll be Mario Party or something like Strikers or Tennis.
Nothing else makes sense since paper mario just came out and we still need another 2 years for Olympics...

From that poll, I'd say Mario Party because Ninty likes to put atleast 2 or 3 Mario Party games on every consoles, so if they want to do atleast 2 of those for WiiU they better launch the first one early.

A new spin off is also possible.

But I think Mario Kart will be before any other spinoff since it's a huge system seller and they will want to get it out of the gate early.

A rpg title would be cool.
