can't be a bad thing.
Well have never heard of them, but something like this can't be bad. Good for Sony.

This is what I love about Sony. They always gobble up small, burgeoning developers that have potential (Naughty Dog, Insomniac, Sucker Punch, and more recently Media Molecule, Ninja Theory, Evolution Studios, and now these guys). They also spur creativity, rather than looking for a quick way to make a buck. This is shown through games like Shadow of the Colossus, Parappa the Rappa, LocoRoco, Patapon, and LittleBigPlanet.
seems kinda strange that a company with those goals (innovation, new ways for story telling) would chose sony...
i would think the wii offers more for an innovative studio than the ps3, but that may be just me

Edit: Upon further reading the thread, I see that this new development studio is focusing on female gamers. Boo. |
Actually that was a different rapsheet, the supposed PS3 game isn't actually female oriented.
Read the PR sheet dude.

Nintendo spurs creativity in hardware while Sony spurs creativity in software. Nintendo created the Wiimote, but Sony has consistently pushed its studios to create games new and different games like Shadow of the Colossus, Parrappa the Rappa, LocoRoco, Patapon, LittleBigPlanet, etc., all using existing hardware.
With Nintendo, they'd get the means for innovation (the Wiimote), but with Sony they'd get actual support for innovation (financial, or otherwise).
