just read news on destructoid that the 3DS outsold the PS3 in Japan. If this is true it only took 2 years to surpass what it took the PS3 6 years to accomplish. 3DS DOOMED?

3DS is the only new gaming device that matters in Japan, until Vita finally gets a really huge game release from a huge Japanese property (MGS?).
WiiU doesn't count because it's a home console.

well that means by next yr.'s end, 3DS will have done wht it took the Wii 6 yr's to do.
You know, this isn't that surprising considering how the DS is the uncontested #1 best-selling game system of all-time in Japan. Maybe in the entire world if we are to trust VGC's hardware estimates.

Well if they pass them in sales great, if they didn't then most likely next week for sure! Either way they surpass the ps3
