Obviously not a tracking error but the Touhou games should be added to the database. I love that series. Currently we only have 'Ten Desires' listed.

Oh also, there seemed to be some minor overtracking of Wii-U games based on November NPD numbers, from this post:

  • We have Assassin's Creed 3 at 30k sold for the week ending December 1st, which puts it ahead of both Skylanders & Sonic.  However, they were 9th and 10th according to NPD and AC3 wasn't in the top 10 Wii-U games at all.  So either AC is overtracked or the others are undertracked.
  • We have Black Ops 2 at 60k for the week ending December 1st, and Scribblenauts at 57k.  NPD puts Scribblenauts ahead of BO2.  One is either overtracked or undertracked slightly.
  • There's also very minor conflicts between Batman & Epic Mickey; and Sonic & Skylanders for Wii-U, where one is higher than the other for November despite NPD saying otherwise.  Only differences of 2k-3k or so but worth fixing if possible.

FIFA Vita tracking :

There are two FIFA games for Vita: FIFA Soccer and FIFA 13.  All the North American sales for the title have been added to the first version, even sales that FIFA 13 made.  Italo correctly spotted it 3 months ago yet FIFA 13 sales are still being added to FIFA Soccer.

Atelier Totori Vita name:

The game was correctly put into the database as Atelier Totori then got changed to "Alien" for some odd reason last week.  Still not been changed back.  The developer is also not correct.

Angry Birds 3DS undertracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 400k & 500k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 200k.  Undertracked by... a lot.

Mario & Sonic 3DS undertracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 200k & 300k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 126k.  Also pretty heavily undertracked.

Kingdom Hearts 3DS overtracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 300k & 400k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 500k.  Overtracked by at least 100k.

LEGO Star Wars 3DS overtracked:

According to NPD numbers yesterday it sold between 300k & 400k in the USA LTD.  We have it at 420k.  Overtracked by at least 20k.

 

The only reason I'm bringing up the 3DS numbers is because we've already had heavy adjustments for a number of Vita games based on NPD yesterday (few games adjusted up, loads of games adjusted down).  Was expecting the same for the 3DS based on the information, but nothing has changed, don't want it to go un-noticed.

There may be some further NPD adjustments needing doing for both 3DS & Vita, I haven't checked some of the smaller games from the numbers.

Hope this gets seen at least, but probably not.


Gonna bump this thread again if that's okay.  Another week passes by since NPD and we have Vita software adjusted based on that information but not 3DS software.  Some games need adjusting up heavily, some games need adjusting down heavily.  Hopefully it might catch ioi's eyeoheyes this time around.

And in case anyone else has spotted stuff wrong with the DB.
