They're certainly going where the money is lately. Hope they don't drop out of traditional gaming altogether chasing this new approach.
wish they give Android some love since thats a huge market, but i already played the demo on 3ds and i liked the game but not enough to buy it. Wonder how much cheaper the iOS version will be
i'll buy this with sale. Too pricey otherwise. Still this'll be a fun game to play in small intervals.
Missed this on black friday for the 3DS so i'll just pick it up for ios =D

you could probably get a 3ds xl + theatrhythm final fantasy for that price :S clever if people buy into it. Shame it's missing the Event stages tho, some of those are really cool cut together fmvs from the later games.

lol, figures. 2 songs does not a free game make. Will probably cost just as much as the 3DS version for everything.
Although looking above, it seems it will cost 3 times what the 3DS version costs to get everything. Damn.

That's pretty cheap compared to the JP prices.
They are 450 yen for each song bundle, 170 yen for individual songs and 250 yen for each character.
Just buying all of the basic bundles would cost 5,850 yen. (13 x 450 yen) there are 25 characters, buying all of those would be 6,250 yen (at 250 yen each.) and buying the all of the 59 individual songs at 170 yen each would run you 10.030 yen!
You could have everything for the low low price of 22,130 yen...($266 USD at current exchange rates)
i think only the basic song packs and the characters are included in the 3ds game (other songs are dlc), but it is still much more expensive.

it's not everything, it doesn't feature any of the Event stages which are basically playing to a song over a compilation fmv of what happened in that songs FF game they are really really nice to watch and play.

Theatrhythm is amazing. I have 15 3DS games and It's top 3 hands down. The 3D is great but really not needed. the 3D seperates the notes/gameplay to the movie scenes in the background but that's all.
