360:
When: After 2 or 3 more games come out and I get the money.
Why: I'd really like to play games like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Gears of War, Orange Box, GTA 4, Call of Duty 4, etc., and I can't afford to get a better computer.

Might also get a PS2 if I can pick it up for 60 bucks or so, there are a lot of games I never got to play, like Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3, and Gran Turismo 3 and 4, because my friend with a PS2 had different tastes.

PS3, while people argue that the 360 has all the good games that the PS3 has plus more AAA games that the PS3 has, I don't really care. I'm just not interested in the AAA games that aren't on the PS3. Right now, Little Big Planet is really the only Non-Wii game I really have any interest in.
When - when I have the budget for it and Wii stops releasing games that I'm interested in, so it could be a while. I don't even care about backwards compatibility; I've got a PS2.

And really, these results can be interpreted in 2 directions. A) PS3 is the console most people want to get next, or B) PS3 is the console that most people haven't gotten yet.

Seppukuties is like LBP Lite, on crack. Play it already!

Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit, No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

Both A and B are important. If everyone who wanted a PS3 already had one it wouldn't bode well for future sales. As it is few people seem to have them but lots of people want them which means sales should do well.
