In that case what's the difference between Sony and Nintendo? |
Are you serious? Nintendo has not hit the rock bottom yet, of course.

I refer you to my post directly below yours. |
He said the only way is up for Sony, so for him to invest in Nintendo is the same thing since the stock stuck can only up, according to his logic. But yeah he doesn't know what he's talking about...

Actually it opened at 13.45$, if you want to be precise. From yesterdays closing to 3 hours after opening today, it has gone down what I said. Problem?

So you can invest in Sony because the only way is up but not Nintendo since from here the only way is rock bottom?

I suppose that's true but I don't like making a bet on something that can easily go either way making it more about who was lucky rather than who was most insightful. Just liek with Vita. It started off great and then, as Runqvist would put it, went into free fall. I waited almost 2 months before I started putting together my Vita projections. I'm not about to project Wii U on less than 2 weeks. |
okay, fair enough. but 2 months later (january 18th) we'll be way to close to march to make a bet any fun. meeting/failing to meet the 5.5M expectation will be all but a certainty by then.

I may not wait that long for my Wii U projections, but I'd certainly like more than 2 weeks of US, 1 week of Europe and 1 weekend of Japan to work with.

Its primarily a Japnese stock. It merely apes the close of Japan. |
And since I follow nasdaq and not nikkei, how is my statement false?

The same reason why you worry about THQ trading at .12 cents or Sony at $9.50 or Kellogg hitting an all time high today. Stock prices give an indication of the overall health of a company. Its an easy way to gague the company between earnings releases. |
Might be easy, but it's far from accurate. Enron had an extremely healthy stock price, but was an extremely unhealthy company earnings wise.

Where did I say that?

For pity sake. See that symbol NTDOY thats the Nasdaq symbol. I am also looking at Nasdaq. Otherwise the number would be much different (yen) and the symbol would be a number (as per Nikkei standards) Click your OWN link and look at todays high/low. Get it now? |
This is getting tiresome, I already explained my reasoning and you just refuse to get it. That is perfectly ok, but for you to assume that I really don't get what is your view, it is downright amusing.
Do I have to spell it out for you? Maybe you could get it then? No?
