Might not make it but all good. 3DS just needs Animal Crossing world wide. AC is a better console seller than anything the competition has to offer.

100% Agree, Also IMO if AC and luigi mansion released worldwide end Nov then 3DS hardware would of at least push 3mil at least. These games are great for casuals and anyone that love the franchise!

Vita wasn't available last year. Those 3.7m Vita's are sales stolen from the 3DS. 

Despite what people may think, 3DS and Vita are directly competing with each other.

This is true to a point. I say 2mil Vita's took away from the 3DS sales, just like the ds and psp are eating up sales also.
Lets face it i say around 1.7mil of the buyers are Sony Only Fans thats why. No matter what they'll never buy Nintendo. Same said Visa-Versa for Nintendo Only Fans!

I think it will just make it. Probably will make it by 50-100k imo.

Now that the 3DS is almost certainly going to make it, this thread will die.

So all it needs to do is sell 1.2 million right? Next week it should do a million and after that... boom! No contest really. I wonder how much its going to outsell last year though? Should we make a prediction about that now?
