Hopefully... I think so, yes. Cool announcements, but no releases before next holidays. I just don't understand this consensus of a "launch in november, release nothing until next november" strategy. Shouldn't they get people on board as quickly as possible? Think about 3rd parties - if they're still undecided now, it's basically too late. A console generation lasts 5 years, a blockbuster takes 2 years minimum. So, if 3rd parties are to "wait & see" how well Nintendo does in winter 2013/14 - it's too late! Their games would be finished winter 2015/16, the platform would be dead by then (or at least as dead for 3rd parties as Wii was).
Regarding NSMB(U): It's big, true. But it isn't as irresistable as Mario Kart is. People can never get enough of Mario Kart, they want new courses, it has endless replay value, it's for everyone. With NSMB people start feeling they're getting more of the same (hell, *I* am not really excited for NSMBU, because it doesn't have this appeal of a 'big adventure').
