I don't know why, but I'm sure that this thread will have much less conversation than the other one.

I use it all the time at work because it's the default browser and we are told not to download anything onto the system.

Of course I still downloaded Chrome, but I still end up using IE because it gives me no issues, except if I try to open IGN. For some reason when VGChartz is open and I also try to load up IGN the thing stalls BIG TIME!

So now I avoid IGN links.

I don't know what to think, really. A few people were saying that Yahoo writers are ignorant and biased in the other thread. I even got whined at for disparaging ad hominem posts. Interesting stuff!

MS is big and the biggest are always targets for cynical writers. The markets change and MS will change with them, but snarker writers will always see doom and gloom ont he horrizon becase they are miserable people and secretly want everyone to be as miserable as they are.

IE still isn't cool, but it's not a nightmare in a emergency situation anymore.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. But IE works.

I know that it works now, which is why I said it isn't a nightmare anymore like it was 2-3 versions back. :)

I actually agree with you about discounting both, as they both seem to be overly-sensational.  The other used pessimistic speculation to build controversy, while this one is basically an advertisement.
