This reminds me, I need to use the $5 credit I got for linking my Amazon Prime with my PS3. Totally slipped my mind, I hope it's still valid.

I believe Netflix has been number one on the PS3 for quite some time now.
What makes the PS3 version more superior? Cause when I used it (granted back in 2011) it was about the same as the 360 version (360 version had a better interface, PS3 loaded a bit faster). The 360 has gotten the auto play feature and if you have Kinect, it is really nice how you can tell it to pause/play/pick your show.
Further proving the fact that the PS3 is just a glorified movie player. Well done Sony...

Didn't Microsoft say Xbox is used more as a media hub than for games?

It is simple, most people prefere to watch movies on their tv than on their pc. It is also more convenient to use netflix on a console! |
Also most people who use PCs, "aquire" a nice crisp 720p or 1080p commercial free video and stream it to their tv.
Not surprising. The PS3 is a better media hub than the 360. I'd be willing to bet the PS3 gets used more per console than the 360 overall.
Netflix on my PS3 is awesome. After I am finished gaming I can go to it without having to pay any extra unneeded fees.

Its not superior, the lay out is different but relatively the same. That and Sony doesn't make it hard to use your Netflix account on PSN which is an incentive for more people to have access to enjoy it.

Yeah the payed vs. free thing has a lot to do with more use on the PS3. I just kept seeing that everyone says the PS3 version is more superior and I wasn't sure why.
