I can't say I am surprised. Sony have to do something about this. If MGS4 releases in May, they are going to have to start hyping it up big time before GTA4 releases, so people buy a PS3 instead of 360.

No surprise if true.  Me and a lot of other people have predicted this for a long time.  $50 cut makes sense.  They won't price their Premium unit less than a Wii, it'd give the impression that it's not worth as much.

It's not enough. It won't put them over Sony (for the long-term, at least), and if Sony counters with a $100 cut this year then the 360 if going to be beat solidly.
