Nice to see the Uncharted franchise continuing to grow, definitely deserves the sales. When U2 launched you would've been laughed at for saying that one day the Uncharted franchise would overtake the Gears of War franchise, amazing to see how close they now are.

And for uncharted, the only bundle i can recall is the eb games special bundle during last christmas, but you could pick out of 5 games.

Anyways why do people start this whole bundling thing, in the end sales are sales, no matter how/where they come from

Wait, where is it $20 more expensive? On Amazon the Slims (not Super Slim) are the same price (PS3 320GB is $299 while the Uncharted bundle is $299). There's the 250GB GOTY bundle Super Slim that's $270 but I don't see a standard 250GB Super Slim priced anywhere (I imagine it's $250 from what you said).

Uncharted 3 is only 500K or so behind it, and just sold nearly 170K last week. In other words, it's about to happen. And I doubt they end up with the same lifetime sales if Uncharted 3 is catching up like that.

Wii Sports and Kinect Adventures were basically FULLY bundled to where they are today

 

Uncharted 3 just got bundled with the super slim ps3 launch in America. I believe it will be discontinued in January

 

Uncharted 3 was selling GREAT before it was bundled and it would have did well even if it wasn't bundled with the Super Slim PS3. I dont know why Sony bundled this game though because Uncharted sells well on its own. They should have bundled StarHawk

Dude.  I was just saying that if we count the other bundles as sales, we'll count Uncharted 3's bundle sales as sales.  I didn't think I implied anything else. 


The Wii Sports and Kinect Adventures part threw me off. These are THE definition of true bundled games. They were bundled with basically every Wii and Kinect Sensor throughout their lifetime. Seemed weird that you would use those out of all bundles. Your use of those specific games made it seem like you were trying to say that Uncharted was bundled with basically EVERY single PS3 throughout its life the way Wii Sports and Kinect Adventures was

Well deserved sales for both games, two of the best new IPs of this generation.

But UC3 has better legs than GOW3.

@007BondAgent: I have nothing against bundles, but i do find a bit silly that some people in this thread give certain franchises a hard time due to bundling but when it comes to their favourite game being bundled they deliberately turn a blind eye to it.
