There is no universal scale of gaming power, any claims of 2X, 6X or any X are really quite silly. But we all like to do it. Does having 4X the RAM mean a system is 4X more powerful? Is a system only as strong as it's weakest link? It's all quite arbitrary. I can say from my experience with PC gaming that when I quadrupal the RAM, the difference in game quality was dramatic. When I upgraded a card to a newer model (even when I just replaced a card one year later when the first died), I noticed a significant upgrade in game smoothness. I've seldom noticed a big improvement from improving the CPU. Console gaming is a whole other beast, but I think the RAM and GPU improvements on my WiiU vs. my XBox should be noticible when utalized. And I think WiiU should be able to handle, with little sacrifice, at least the early NextBox and PS4 games. If engines are scaled even moreso, with just extra graphic detail lost.
