Wii U is now released. As we speak the Anti Nintendo propaganda machine are hard at work trying to slow down sales. It seems to be all the rage when Nintendo releases a new console/handheld.

With the Wii it was people throwing their Wiimotes through televisions and smacking people in the head.

With the 3DS it was all about people getting sick from looking at the screen (which has magically stopped all of a sudden).

Im betting day 1 myself, I mean you gotta slow down sales as fast as you can ya' know?

If you take a look at the posted picture of my Wii U on this thread:

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=150077&page=1#

the system was already scuffed out the box. I think its a pretty big deal because it seems like a QC issue but I can see people posting stuff after just 1 day. Electronics, especially ones from successful companies (i.e. Apple) are scrutinized day one.

Within 24 hours of the Microsoft Surface launch - two people had managed to run over their Surfaces. And they still worked. How do you let your tablet free to roam in the street?  (I guess people just do really odd things.)

A gamepad will be sadly loss before the week is out.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Yea! seems inconceivable that a person flinging a remote around might let it slip and break a t.v, or someone feeling ill or having headaches from looking at an object that can strain the eyes. AND that the Wii U might actually break down 0_o.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

Cant...detect....sarcasm.....

Common dude. Lets get to reality here. Maybe a handfull of these cases are believable. But they were out of control claims. Im talking thousands. As far as I can tell Nintendo warned against all of these things. It's not about IF things can happen. ANYTHING can happen. It's a propaganda tool....simple as that.

So are you saying that Nintendo ships crazy glue with Wii now? Or 3DS is shipped with a bottle of Pepto? Where are all these claims now ? Or was it all exaggerated to shine a bad light on Nintendo.

Honestly the complaints will be about it being uncomfy and awkward, since to lots of people it is. It isn't unique enough to get original criticism.

But is it unbreakable?

So you think Wii U controller is unbreakable and all the people who happen to break it are mentioning it are only doing "anti nintendo propaganda"? Wow.

With 90 million Wii's out there you think only a handful of people actually flung their controller at the wall or t.v? I can gaurantee you it's more common than you might think it is. Some due to the user's stupidity and others do to fauly straps etc.

Also, while I know people who can play the 3DS for hours with no problems. I can't play it with the 3D on for more than a few minutes. These things happen. Just like some people's Wii U will break within the first week or month.
