If you take a look at the posted picture of my Wii U on this thread:

the system was already scuffed out the box. I think its a pretty big deal because it seems like a QC issue but I can see people posting stuff after just 1 day. Electronics, especially ones from successful companies (i.e. Apple) are scrutinized day one.
