Ninja Gaiden 3 comes to WiiU in a (greatly) enhanced version in Dec. (US) Jan (EUR). Removal of the infamous QTE, better IA, add of a new chapter in which Ayane is playable and online coop mode. Current Ninja Gaiden fans are quite unhappy about this and Yosuke Hayashi from Team Ninja studio knows this.
Asked by Siliconera, he says : "Right now we are just really focused on getting Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge out, but we do want as many people as possible to experience that challenge and that fun. So having that on other platforms we’re working on that idea. We are looking at that" and to conclude "We can’t say for sure how it will be coming to the other consoles, but we are thinking of ways to be able to make Ninja Gaiden fans on all consoles happy".
Team Ninja clearly doesn't want to leave non-WiiU purchasers behind, and that's really nice of them, so I think we can expect a Ninja Gaiden ∑3 or a simple DLC to the existing Ninja Gaiden 3 later in 2013. Anyway, this is one incentive to buy a WiiU that falls into pieces imo.
