I honestly couldn't take this clown seriously since I've laughed at pretty much everything he said. This dude himself has no taste in gaming since he hates everyone else's taste.

Let me get this straight, "Shadow of the Colosuss" is a bore in "artsy clothing"? Okay. So what should I buy? Braid instead of Mario? So, a lesser game (I like both actually) that is carried by being in "artsy clothing".

I am never impressed when people say "x is bad, y is terrible, z is utter rubbish!". It is easy to hate anything, the hard part is what to praise as you put yourself out there for criticism. Like many articles, once this happens the argument falls apart and their claims "it is not about subjective taste!" shows itself to be exactly about that.

The article was just bad. He really shouldn't try to lump himself with AVGN and Yahtzee. AVGN is interesting because a lot of the games are near unplayable. In truth the games are often funnier than him. What I like about James though is he presents the background history of the games really well. Yahtzee is funny because he is over blowing the flaws of the game but he does it with wit. Not to mention his British voice is funny in itself.

Pretty lame, but Lightning Returns Final Fantasy XIII made me laugh, so it was almost not a total waste. But then it was.
