The platforming was very forgiving with correcting your direction, you didn't have to press the stick in the right direction perfectly. All it ever came down to was to recognize where to go when the camera angle suddenly changed. The games would have been frustrating, if it hadn't been for the rewind time mechanics that basically gave the developers a free pass for lacking level design and controls (particularly refering to combat for the latter). |
I played the Sands of Time trilogy and while you are right about the rewind thing, it isn't like the 2008 game. That one you just have to push a button at the right time to proceed. That being said, I really did like the look of the 2008 game.
