Well... I think the story could be perfectly with original actors from original trilogy. After all they have all aged perfectly to the time frame this new movie might take place (in reference to the ending of RotJ).

They'd be so foolish not to try and take advantage of that...
It'd work so perfectly.

That's what I think. I mean RotJ came out in 1983. It will be 32 years (in 2015) which is a perfect time span to have between the movies of RotJ and Episode7.
Sure they may not be huge parts, but strong cameos and important parts of the story in one way or another.
What does it mean by Adapted Screenplay? Did he not do most of the work?
Not as odd a choice as you would think. There are essentially three "stats" by which writers can be judged: world-building, characters, and plot. Some writers are strong in some and weak in others. Arndt has proven that he can do characters and plot, which are mostly fully transferable skills between genres (unless you have highly technical genres like techno-thrillers or certain other types of sci-fi, but space opera isn't one of them). World building will be fully left under Lucasfilm's control, and is the thing Lucas himself has always been very good at, so we have to assume good things here.

Actually, funny thing. All sequels are deemed Adapted Screenplays, because they are adapted from the previous movies.

That is a good question. What was Toy Story 3 originally, or do sequels count as "Adapted" by default?

Obviously a prequel, because the number VII precedes the number I. |
But those are not numbers.

In the alphabet world, it's still a sequel :)

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
