Forums - Nintendo - Animal Crossing: New Leaf

I just downloaded the new Animal Crossing last night.
At first I got errors, but then the whole thing was downloaded in about 20 minutes. Quite painless.
The game is a lot of fun so far.

The 3D looks really good on this one!
Anybody here planning to get it when it comes out in your region?

If I have time I'll post some impressions later (if people are interested...).

Would love some impressions. I already have good feelings for this game but I am bummed that it will take such a long time for US to get it. Sigh. (Whyyy Nintendo whyyy :'()

As I've said many times before I hate you so much for getting these games months to forever before the rest of the world, the only joy I get is that you have to pay higher prices for your video games and that joy is only so much.

Former something....

For playing my 2013 GOTY in 2012!

I'm not into AC myself but I hope for all the fans that this game rocks their socks off.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Of freaking course I'm getting it!

The latest famitsu issue

I own only the GC one which i liked, finally i found an excuse to get back to the series

Thanks for the hate! :D
But then we really have to pay a lot for games here in Japan.
And the West even gets WiiU before Japan. But I digress...

My first impressions are awesome. If you've played AC before, you'll be feeling right at home.
Finally I got some money and took a photo for my villager's pass card.

For all interested in names/puns:
The recycle shop is called "R. Parkers".
If you write that in Japanese with Katakana and read it loosely it becomes "Alpacas".
The 2 animals running the store are of course Alpacas. :)
The female one is called "Risa", which is a moderately common name in Japan. R. Parkers is a recycle shop (used goods shop), and "recycle" is "risaikuru" in Japanese, hence the name "Risa".
The male Alpaca is kalled Kaizo. Kaizo in Japanese means modification or to modify. He can turn your old things into new things, hence the name. ;)

So much for now...
I've got a loan to pay back. :D

I usually don't buy Famitsu, but that cover looks great. I might just have to make an exception this time.

I think I'll stop by the bookstore after work today and have a look.
