I'm always the same with these kinds of things.

I will walk into the store on launch day, ask for my copy, and walk out (after paying, of course).

I never understood why people preorder. There is ALWAYS enough software stock. There has yet to be one time where I have not been able to acquire a copy of what I wanted on release day.

Well, this will finally be the time!!!

Expect to be saddened as u walk out of the store Mar 9th

I generally like to preorder for games that have midnight launches since Best Buy and the likes don't generally do that.

I preordered my copy of Brawl way back in October at GameStop lol

where do u live? It seems like very store around me has plenty

There are over 300 preorders at my local Gamestop, with 3 other Gamestop stores within 20 miles. At this point I'm thinking, why bother pre-ordering if it's likely that I won't get a copy on release day anyway?

so if u preorder, that doesn't gurantee u get a copy at launch? and is there priority at GS ( I mean, if u preordered first, does that give u greater priority)?

Pre-ordering doesn't hurt. It's not as if you pay anything extra. Most places ask you to put down $5, and that goes towards the cost of the game.  Sometimes there's also good pre-order gifts too.  My Brawl copy was pre-ordered in August, as part of a special promotion - Trade in 3 older games, and get Brawl free........I'm certainly not complaining.
