Would you buy a DVD/Blu-Ray player without knowing what kind of processor it has? I'm betting you probably would because the content it plays is far more important that the hardware.

Yes. I would probably want to know something about it, but I wouldn't need specific knowledge.

So for anyone keeping count that's
1 - Yes I care about the specs
to
25 - No, I don't give a damn (my own not giving a shit included)
Signature goes here!
Even if Nintendo announced a new version of SNES and release new games for it I would still buy it.
I want a GAMING console. I am not down with these so called "living room entertainment boxes." I already have a gaming PC for that.
We already know the Wii U is a bit faster than the HD consoles and has twice as much RAM available to games as well as a 5* BRD and 8/32GB of storage and a tablet controller. The specifics probably won't make things much clearer than what we already know.
Tease.
I think everygame sytem i have ever bought i did not know the actual specs before buying. If i'm not mistaken Sony/MS/Nintendo do not publish whats in their sytems. Just people buy them and open them up to find out.
I'm interested in knowing the specs of a new system, but there are not a selling point for me.
Nintendo and PC gamer

I've never bought a system knowing the specs before hands. I look at the games and decide if that is something I am interested in. Simple.
