Right now I'm borderline wether I will get it or not. It's 20 Euros after all for a DD. I have made many mistakes with downloadable titles in the past (Amy, Dungeon Hunter, Tokyo Jungle).

Damn you Boutros, you made me doubt.

What was wrong with Tokyo Jungle? I loved that game, great whacky story mode and original survival game play. Very addictive.
Together with Journey, Closure, Pixeljunk 4 AM, Papa & Yo and The unfinished swan, this has been the best year yet for psn games for me.

Okami is best played over a longer time period. Just like Zelda, running through it to complete it asap will only get you burned out. Same as watching a whole tv series in 1 go.

Nothing wrong with Tokyo Jungle apart from the fact that I personally am not playing it. I love that it's original, whacky and addictive too.

But for some reason I'm not playing it, it just didn't hook me, so therefore I feel it was wasted money (thankfully only peanut money).

@slimebeast: get it. It is probably a good game since most critics praise it.

Just dont expect it to be the perfect game, as IGN and so on have described it. Generally, I get bored quickly with games when one or two situations come up that are annoying.

For Twilight Princess it was the escort mission (stopped at that) and for Okami it was the fetch mission (carrot digging, stopped at that).

Oh, and for Xenoblade it was walking into the first town and being annoyed at not knowing what to do next ;)

I have the exact same thing with Minecraft, love the idea, just can't get into it.

What do you mean, do you mean that you abandoned Okami due to that? And yet you recommend me to get it.

I do wonder if this will come to WiiU, it would make perfect sense, with the touchscreen for the drawing and all.

... Ah who am I kidding, it's Capcom, obviously it'll come to WiiU.

You know, it came out for the Wii, with the Wii-mote for drawing and all.  Though I guess get the DS version to tide you over.

Lol I know, I own and completed both. ;)

I dunno!! XD

i didn't say anything about wanting to play/buy Okami again, just that I was wondering if they would port it to WiiU, 'cos that would make a great fit!

Capcom is very weird when it does things, I'm not actually too sure why they bothered putting it back on Sony's machine to say the truth.  I don't see them putting it on the Wii U anytime soon unless they want a "console" quality sequel then they're probably just testing the waters for it on the PS3 to see if there's a market for it.

I think they trying to tap into the Move owner userbase, perhaps they feel is a niche to appeal to.  They've ported Okami with Move controls as well as the two Wii exclusive Resident Evil games, each time only for PS3 and not 360.

They aren't the only ones, EA did it with Dead Space Extraction and Sega with HOTD Overkill.

I understand the light gun shooters, I mean, Sony's been pushing the move as a light gun instead of 3d space movement like it's supposed to be.  But Okami, I still don't see why they would port it over; I mean it looks like they rewrote the game again.

You love that a game is addictive, yet it didn't hook you? You do realize that this is a glaring contradiction?

Oops.

I recognized it as such... but I somehow avoided the addiction. Against my will.
