Wow I never knew that the hurricane was that close to Indiana (my state). I'm not stressing that It's brutal over here compared to other states that are really affected, but it's pretty windy here in the Hoosier state. I hope for those here (in vgchartz) who live in the affected areas are doing ok.

I wonder what the fuck they were doing out on sea.. the hurricane didn't come out of nowhere and although it's a replica of an old ship they probably do have the means to inform themselves about things like these.

They just risked their lives and expected others to risk their lives to save them in the case something went wrong huh?

They sailed out last thursday trying to save the ship... but since it doesn't have enigines only sails it couldn't get out of Sandy's path on time..

Show me one example of a storm of this magnitude and scope not being reported on.

No i was just being stupid, i was angry that it was seemingly the only thing i would hear on the news. I honestly didn't expect to see flooding on such a scale in the NYC! this is deadly serious! But I was being an arsehole when i was saying that, this is probably one of the worst storms ever in human history. This is climate change talking and we need to act to prepare against storms like this in the future.

Now lets see if these events lead to something similiar to the events from day after tomorrow where places like NYC freeze

Actually, no, It's a hurricane and 2 other stroms merging together, they are saying it's like a once in 180 year storm.  It's left people frozen dead in the tropics, and hitting the USA and some major cities hard.

Usually, I find just American Citizen that are so myopic.

 

(PS if it combines with the Big Windbad Donald Trump, it would be the doom of us all - lol)

No i was wrong and it was one probably one of the worse natural hazards in the Americas that I have heard of. If the world is really over this year, all we need is yellowstone, iceland and krakotoa volcanoes to all go off at the same time lol

Storm seems to have died down here. We lost power last night for about 1hr 30mins, and a tree went down. Dodged a bullet in comparison to some of the stories from NYC and other areas.
