first of all, gratz 343i. people who predicted a meta of 94 or even above did maybe not see that the industry is little bit harsher this year since mass effect 3 (no clue why they started to rate games lower as they would have last year or two year ago before me3)

i predicted 92 in the league but like i yesterday realized in the official thread reviewers can't really review spartan ops which will be a big part of halo 4 so i thought halo 4 could score little bit lower then.

you idea of iron sight would destroy the whole game. the game is made to have battles different to games with iron sight and halo wouldn't really work anymore and you would take exactly that why many people like me play halo so much.

it would be a game changer as much as a gran turismo or forza game as arcade racer like nfs (so even more as horizon).

it would work if they would change the whole level structure and if the gameplay should changebdrastically but omg would it be horrible for every halo fan. it's not as if we couldn't play cod or battlefield if we want.

We all know these days is very difficult to get above 90s on Meta, if this game was in 2009 or 2010 it would have probably 95.

Uc3 and Mass Effect 3 are better than Uc2 and Mass 2 yet they have lower scores.

Uncharted 2 and GTA IV were both massively overrated games that induced a change in how the industry reviewed.  Ever since those two were released, scores have been getting lower.  I would add that I think Uncharted 2 is a solid low 90's game but it should never have ended up past 96.  I don't mind either way because as longs as a game doesn't have any faults that bug me the actual scores mattter little.  I loved Halo Wars and would have given the game 85/100 which shows how subjective the art of reviewing is and how what the actual text of the review is the real measure of the game.

Now to see where in my area is opening at midnight for launch as I have the day off...

Let's be honest. It couldn't really have done any better, the usual suspects have voted it down as expected. Adding all accounts together, it's basically perfection. The low scores would have been low however good the game was.

The important scores are the ones that could have either given the game an 8.5 - 10 out of 10. They have all given 9 or 10.

Relative comparison to reviews of 2 years ago this is a 95 Metacritic game.

...Might actually play this Halo. Never liked bungie, and never thought Halo 1 was the 2nd coming of god, I guss that's how it is when you have actually played an FPS on a PC...as not everyone had back in 20012
