il be picking this up regardless and depending on the price could be day 1. All the others have been around £32.99 and i won't be paying £40 now!
I'm happy the PS3 version is the superior tbh. can't wait for AC3:Liberation too when i have more money!

Good to hear PS3 version runs better. That's rare in AAA multiplats.
Anyway PS3 version not only runs better, but has more content. I'd say it's an easy choice for those who have both consoles.

I can't wait for the Vita reviews.

Of course the graphics will be amazing. This is Assassin's Creed.

I never really thought AC graphics where amazing. I mean considering the budget they have the graphics in AC II and Revelations where rather mediocre.

Well tell me an open world game that looks clearly better then. The scenes that are rendered in AC are huge and they look great from every angle, even from the top of a 300 foot cathedral!

Assassin's Creed games really don't look all that great.  Good but not great, and if we are talking about consoles then I'd say Red Dead Redemption beats it.  If we are including PC then pretty much everyting.  Ubisoft sucks on PC

You don't think this looks amazing?

Actually I don't think that either.

That screenshot looks beyond terrible. PS2 terrible.

i agree, the scale also looks off... is the assassin as tall as a house?

nah scale is normal, he doesn't stand on the house you can see on the pic in the left corner, he stands on a cross of a building which you can't see on the pic.

oh yeah you're right, it looked to me like he was standing on the chimney lol

Your username already told us that. But why are you happy for that? :S

Not sure that's the case anyway just yet.

AC3, overhyped imo. How come it's suddenly the hip thing to love everything AC?

evidently because it was the version he was planning to buy...

i don't think you would need a detective to deduce that

Ubisoft can say as much as they want that anvilNext is a new engine. But it's very clear that it's not.

It's just the old AC2 engine with some improvements.

Well, there may be more reviews, but this is the first one to appear on Metacritic.

It's from a Spanish site. It says it has loads of bugs and the draw distance is much shorter than in previous games :/

They gave the other Assassin's Creed games:

Assassin's Creed II - 8.0/10

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - 8.5/10

Assassin's Creed: Revelations - 8.0/10

So 8.5/10 sounds pretty good to me!

You forgot the most famous review of Meristation. Assassin's Creed 1 - 9.6/10

Assassin's Creed 3 has received 8.3/10 in 360 and 8.5/10 in PS3.

Why is the 360 version lower ? :c

probably because of the  missing content but not 100% sure

Question for all of you bugging out.

Is draw distance really that big of an issue that it makes or breaks your purchase? I am starting to feel more and more, gamers are nit picking over things that gens prior would not have even been an issue. I get that technology has progressed so the benchmark has also moved. Still, stressing over such a minor thing as draw distance like it somehow drastically alters play....annoying to say the least. I say the same thing when we stress over framerates that are consistant but not 60 frames. WHO CARES!?

Now the bugs....thats an entirely different issue.
