Is RE5 slated for the PS2? No? Then it won't be another PS2 port. Your argument is moot. Besides we can count on Capcom to do a good job.

And ports aren't the problem, last gen sloppy ports are the problem. A current Gen port is not in this category.

But where did you read the second rumour? How can Nintendo do that, considering that there are already 20 million Wiis out there?

while it does adress that they want RE5 camcom will see that there is demand for a real RE game on wii and they might release on,it doesnt have to be RE5 though


 Most likely what'll happen is that Capcom will make RE:UC2, after all if the 1st one sells extremely well then their will be no reason not too.


if you go by what your saying then that means that capcom should put resident evil 5 on wii because resident evil 4 is selling well,and its now selling higher then resident evil umbrella chronicels which shows that wii owners wan a true resident evil game and not an on-rails shooter,thats hwy i hope they release a resident evil game for wii with resident evil 4 style gameplay

ok.. re4 sold what 2 million on the PS2 which had a userbase of 100mil +
sold like 1.5 on GC which maybe a 20 mil userbase... if you ask me, Nintendo is the home of RE, PS3 will be lucky to get a Wii port.

And how is that a problem? the argument that a "port is a port" only works if people were complaining all ports for the Wii were unwanted when in fact we were only ever complaining about a handful of sloppy last gen (PS2) ports.

 RE4 was just a port sold at a budget price, the same can not be said about RE:UC.

RE:UC was capcoms test game made from the ground up for the wii with the wii users in mind, so the success of this game will determine what capcom do next on the wii interms of the RE franchise, that's why I said that it's most likely that they'll make RE:UC2 before doing anything else with the RE franchise on the wii

But this isn't a petition for more shovelware, its a petition for RE5. And I don't see a problem petitioning for a port, only you do. It sounds more like you're trying to convince yourself the Wii will always have seperate games.
