Forest and artic Camo paintjobs? That's like if the Goldeneye preorder bonus was Odd Job.
Hell, that's gamestop's adveritisng campaign.
If I played Halo i'd be angry.
PS: Fuck Odd Job. He was bullshit.

These pre-order bonuses are ridiculous. Didn't Mists of Pandaria come with a strategy guide and a pair of chopsticks, or something like that?
I think the only games I ever pre-order anymore are Zelda games; it's just too damn expensive to pay $60 for each new game I want to play. Maybe if the pre-order bonus was a 20 dollar bill, maybe then I'd bite the bullet.
"If I played Halo i'd be angry."
But you don't apperantly, so the entire point of this thread is pointless and nothing more than just baiting for Halo fans, good job Mr. Mod man.

A) I don't think you understand what baiting is.
B) The point of the thread is that they are now giving away Multiplayer advantages away as a preorder bonus.
Which is complete bullshit.
Artbooks or a little figureine, or a tommy gun for campaign mode or something is one thing...
but skins that are intentionally confer a gameplay advantage in multiplayer?
That's bullshit.

So what is the problem? You don't even play Halo. Sounds like trolling to me.
Since Oddjob was Harold Sakata, you should consider yourself lucky that the game allowed you to kill him at all.
I wouldn't say camouflage colors are too much of a deal - it could have been way worse. The auto-aim will be unaffected and the crosshair will still go read when aiming at the enemy unless you are very far away. And in team matches (which is basically the only times you will see campers. In FFA people mostly rush to the objective) your color will still be fixed to red or blue anyway.
It was a whole different thing when I bought Battlefield 3 a few months after launch and saw the more experienced players using stronger and upgraded weapons. That was a huge blow in my opinion.

or maybe you don't know what you are talking about...the skins are just skins and all halo armors are just to look different and have no impact on gameplay. in team games you are still just blue or red (you see the skin in the matchmaking then) and in ffa it also won't change anything important. it is only the small pattern on the armor (as example few stripes in one direction) and the color of the skin is changeable from everyone.
just to show you what it really is, here is the amazon skin "web", the white spider on the armor is the exclusive skin. if you don't preorder at amazon you won't have that spider pattern but you can still change colors on your armor if you think that is important.

Good point... wasn't thinking about the auto-aim. Admittidly i just pretty much saw the gamestop add and was like "What the hell."
As for Battlefield 3.... I agree... it's why I like the TF2 system better where the weapons are (theoretically atleast) supposed to be sidegrades, and often are worse then the regular weapons but just offer a new hitch to play style. (Or just new playstyle all together like the demoknight!)
