Forums - Gaming - If you could only play a single franchise going forward...

Fallout because there are just endless things to do in that game. Every time you start a new game with a slightly different type of character it's like playing a completely different game and doesn't feel like you're just doing the same things (even though you kinda are).

ZELDA

Zelda. 100% Zelda. It's not even close.

I would have to go with pokemon, it's really the only video games series i actually like.

NBA2K... If it included past games it would be Suikoden, or Final Fantasy franchises..

Mario

(and the best thing is that everyone here in VGChartz seem to consider 2D Mario, 3D Mario, Mario Kart, Mario Party, Paper Mario and every other Mario the same franchise - so I'm set in genres too!)

If the Mario rule does apply I choose Mario as well. Otherwise I'd go with Pokemon. Long playthroughs, online mode, lots of stuff to do and 2 versions to play.

I would've picked Final Fantasy but the releases of the ones im interested are very few and far between and lately imo haven't been good either.

Uncharted it is!!

You almost had me there, since there is absolutely no franchise at the moment that can hold my attention.
I was about to give up on gaming.

But then i realised every year the old installments are being re-released so that would suffice for me to say Final Fantasy.

Very easy. Uncharted.. or no, maybe GTA. No actually it would be MGS. Wait a minute this isn't easy at all.

You crazy people?

Of course you'd go with Mario!! That way you'd always have some games to play each and every year, and once in a while you'll be able to play some amazing games! I wouldn't be able to wait 5 years to play a new Zelda, or a new GTA or whatever else there is... Mario is they way to go - not because it's the best games, but because you'll be able to play a couple of games each year...

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
