This year the awards event - which is almost as old as CVG itself - is celebrating its 30th year as the world's longest-running games ceremony.

Over four million votes were cast for the 2012 event, which more than doubles the Guinness World Record set last year. You can find a list of all the award winners below.

I disagree with civ having most strategic gong. That award should be given to journey.
