I don't see how the age has to do with anything. If it annoys you now it should have annoyed you 6 years ago.

It has always annoyed me but now it does even more.  PS3 and 360 looks so identical that you really have to knitpick things to notice a difference.

yep is very funny, that was the time when sony was the boss. :) aparently  all sony fans want sony to leave the console market, pushing them to released monster consoles that only generates losses for years and years...

No doubt about it. Thats why you dont really see me in graphics debates anymore. It will be kuch more interesting when next gen rolls around and we dont really know what the machines are fully capable of. Thats when Ill start worrying about graphics discussions again.

At this point we know 360 and PS3 look the same 99% of the time. Anyone who tells you differently has an agenda.

That gameplay from Crysis looks extremely laggy. I think technology should enhance the feel of the things and not just looks.


That is actually a video that is almost 3 years old.  Graphics are beyond that now by a lot.  I was going to post the recreation of Titanic with the CryEngine but I thought I'd show gameplay instead.

That one is much better and colourful.

PS3 fans don't necessarily have to be PS2 and PS1 fans - usually the most vocal people are ones who flip-flop very easily

Infamous 1 looked pretty ugly with huge aliasing going on everywhere, I platinumed that game anyway - Infamous 2 looks quite good

I also platinumed the 1st InFamous game.  InFamous 2 looks better than the 1st but overall it's still pretty ugly.

Such ugliness. If once seen can never be unseen. Right!

Edit: Just being sarcastic if not clear. I don't like think you can call any of the modern games ugly. Some might not match the artistic pallet and be bland but ugly. Come on.
