I was just reading an article a moment ago on how good Halo 4 looks, which you have to admit it looks great gameplay wise and graphic wise.  The thing that annoys me is when you go to the comments everybody is argueing about which game looks the best.  "PS3 looks better it has Uncharted, Killzone, Last of Us.  No 360 looks better it has Halo 4, Forze Horizons, Alan Wake!"  You see these stupid comments.  Really?  Look, PS3 and X360 both look kind of eh to be honest.  There is those few games like Halo, God of War, Forza, Uncharted, Gears of War etc that stands out, but for the most part, all games look pretty poor.  I'm looking at you Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, InFamous, Alan Wake, etc.  Pick up a PC and just notice the differrence in quality.  PC has 25x the power as current consoles so when you play games like The Witcher 2 that takes advantage of graphics you will really notice the difference.  How about looking up photo realistic Crysis or Skyrim and then compare it to your 6-7 year old technology.  I love my PS360 but hearing fans argue over which looks better when both are nearly identical is annoying. The reason I play consoles is because the quality exclusives, not which is more powerful.  if you want the most powerful machine then why are you playing consoles?

No because the PS3 is so powerful that it has never been maxed out and I heard that if you did max it out everyone would die so I hope they never do it but The Last of Us will finally max it out I heard.

BTW, what's wrong with inFamous. The game looks great for an open world type game. I mean it's not AMAZING but I'm not wasting my time staring at the leaves on the trees for hours wondering why they don't look better lol.

It is just a modern day thing. Back in days dudes used to argue about cars. Now most of the car forums are filled with middle aged men. Young people spend most of their energy on pron and arguing over consoles and smartphones.

That gameplay from Crysis looks extremely laggy. I think technology should enhance the feel of the things and not just looks.

I always thought its funny seeing PS3 fans talking graphics when PS1 and PS2 looked worse then their competition.

InFamous is a good game but it's pretty ugly all round.  I could have named off a ton more games, them are just the ones that came to my mind first so don't take it as a bad thing.  I actually like all the games I named, but they are still pretty ugly looking.

That is actually a video that is almost 3 years old.  Graphics are beyond that now by a lot.  I was going to post the recreation of Titanic with the CryEngine but I thought I'd show gameplay instead.

PS3 fans don't necessarily have to be PS2 and PS1 fans - usually the most vocal people are ones who flip-flop very easily

Infamous 1 looked pretty ugly with huge aliasing going on everywhere, I platinumed that game anyway - Infamous 2 looks quite good
