I will continue my tradition of not voting because both parties suck and I live in a state that has been blue for every election of my life. If I was forced to vote on the big 2 id go Obama because Mitts 20% mystery tax cut plan seems like it will really screw us.

Thank you for reminding people of something Obama would like us all to forget... his two years with a supermajority and getting only health care done. He can't blame the Republicans for an "obstructionist" congress when they had no power. In fact, there has not been a budget passed in Obama's presidency. This is a first. So yeah, you can blame the GOP for the last two years... but in the first two years they did nothing, either.

It might, thats true, but i also doubt very much romney would be able to get such a plan passed through congress without substantial changes...

I'll vote for Mitt Romny. So that America will become a powerful empire and a strong force for good in the world again.

Neither candidate will be as strong a president as say Bill Clinton in my eyes, but out of the two I will go with Obama because he's the lesser evil. No matter what Mitt says to me. I don't think he's ready, and to say that 47% of the population he's running to be president of are takers and are essentially worthless is concerning. He refuses to detail his plans, looks out for the rich, he acts like a bully to get what he wants, and he plans to make America play world police even more then we already do. How anyone can vote for that is beyond me, but hey everyone is different.

Obama has made some poor choices, and he's had to deal with a lot of the Bush administrations piss poor decisions. I think another four years would help him get to a better place, but i'm going to be realistic here and say that even if he is reelected it's not all peaches and rainbows ahead of us.

Basically how I feel about it.  I supported and voted for Ron Paul up here in the Michigan primary, and since he's not the nominee, I actually have to make a choice.  I'm voting to give someone else a crack at this.  Obama's second-term plan is just doing the exact same thing he did in his first term, except in a second-term he wouldn't worry about moving to the center at all, due to no longer having to fear retribution at the polls.

Just to clarify.  Minority still has fillibuster as mechanism to stop legislation, you need 60 seats in the senate all on the same page to force through bills.  Minority has not been powerless.

I'm ready to vote for Obama. I think he inherited a real mess--two wars and a recession--and has gradually turned things around. I'm worried that Romney would undo that progress.

If you want specifics, here are some things Obama's done that I support: 1. Improved the economy from losing 800,000 jobs per month (right before he took office) to adding jobs in each of the past 40+ months. 2. Rescued the US auto industry. 3. Tightened regulations on Wall Street and big banks (although they could still be tighter). 4. Extended health insurance to more than 30 million people. 5. Expanded government aid to students, and cut out middle men. 6. Increased fuel efficiency standards for cars and trucks. 7. Got Osama bin Laden. 8. Ended the war in Iraq. 9. Set a timetable for ending the war in Afghanistan. 10. Stopped torturing people. 11. Helped topple oppressive dictatorships in Egypt and Libya. 13. Strengthened international alliances that George W. Bush had weakened. 14. Negotiated economic sanctions that have crippled Iran. 13. Allowed gay men and women to openly serve in the military.

There's more to do, but I think that's a good start.

Over here in Canada, people seem to still like Obama and see Mitt as a guy who doesnt understand the common man.
