New screenshots of the Wii U arcade farming simulator Funky Barn.(lilbroex note: arcade and simulator?)

Funky Barn is an arcade “farming simulator” for the Wii U, and is very much inspired by games such as Animal Crossing and FarmVille. It’s an open-ended sandbox game where players construct their own farm, manage animals, machinery, harvest, and more, all via the Wii U GamePad controller. Developer Tantalus has released the first screenshots of the game, showing us a closer look at at some of the features and gameplay. Funky Barn will be released in late 2012 on the Wii U.

I wish someone could make a great farm simulator. I used to love playing Farmville but it was too shallow and got old after a while. Anyone remember Farm Frenzy? haha

OT: This game looks gross :p

Sim Farm....  The game is old and probably very bad looking to most people these days but it had more substance than Farmville (don't know for sure because I never played Farmville but I can safely assume).  I believe this was before Maxis was bought out by EA also.

Also, Harvest Moon comes to my mind.  Never played that series either but it has a decent following.

Something maybe about as deep as the fishing stuff from Zelda:TP might be cool. It would even work great with the Upad :D

love simulators, but this looks such a horrible, low budget game
