Damn, getting really excited for the game. Really glad I got my pre-order in for the LE early.

They had timed pre-order bonuses for it here in Japan.
Pre-order the earliest and you get a UNSC logo T-shirt (plus 160 MS points), Halo 4 dog tags (plus 400 MS points) and Halo 4 DLC. The bonuses were reduced in stages the longer you waited (first the T-shirt, next the dog tags...)

My girlfriend is the one who told me I should pre-order it ASAP to get all of the bonuses, hehe.

They were awesome. Better than any before it in gaming.

But they didnt have the Chief feel.

Wat I mean is Scanned as things in it that makes any Halo Lore fan bubble up inside. Seeing what we all read about in the novels with the clone, and John. Seeing the masterchief move like that. It made me feel something Ive not felt for a long time in gaming. Maybe its just the nail in te coffin to a tremendous job 343i is doing with the Halo storytelling and Halo lore ( which is my faveourtie scifi story nowadays just behind the Matrix concept ).

But this new trailer was emotional on so many levels.

I agree with Selnor 100% on this one. I love the other Halo trailers but from a hardcore fan of the lore from Halo this trailer really is amazing.

We see John as a child. We see him replaced with his clone when the UNSC takes him from his family. We see go through the Spartan Augmentation process. We see a glimpse of the Diadect.

And the best part for me is seeing Johns legendary armor put on him for the first time. The moment where he stops being just a man but the Master Chief.

It uses the song Revival, no dubstep. Honestly, I like the "Scanned" trailer with music better.

I know but seriously why are you people already saying GOTY? It's not even actual gameplay footage how difficult is it to make something look awesome when it's not actually in the game. Give me a trailer with actual gameplay footage that is awesome then let's talk about game of the year. You can't say a game is GOTY when you have not even tried it. You can say that it's going to be a great game but damn...GOTY?? CMON PEOPLE.
