Forums - Nintendo - Another way in which the wiimote might change videogames!!!!!

In this video you can see a new use this guy got for the wiimote, and that certainly shows great potential for videogames. It sure is awesome.

really really old video.. but good none the less

I can't even see the video just the embed or whatever you call that. Click edit and repost it should work.

Yeah we covered this a few weeks back.

Unfortunately can't get it to work on my comp right now and it seems the solution is to install some developers DX package for some missing libraries he used while making it. May try later....

This is pretty awesome, but you really don't need the wiimote to do this stuff, just an infrared camera and some glasses with an LED on each side.

Would love to see a shooter that incorporated it though.

@Played_Out: You wouldn't NEED a Wii-Mote, but since everyone with a Wii has one, it would mean they wouldn't need to include any peripherals.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I know that, i just didn't have any other idea about what to call the thread

@thekitchensink

Well, you clearly would need SOMETHING new. The sensor bar on your cap doesn´t seem like a good solution
