Forums - Sony - This might sound CRAZY but this is my prediction 'The Reload' Ad

The only characters that NEED to be in the game imo (Playstation All Stars I mean) are:

-Crash Bandicoot
-Solid Snake
-Cloud Strife
-Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)

Why they dont include 4 of the biggest stars that represented Playstation during the 90s in the PSX era makes no sense.

Not their call to make. It's up to the publishers who own those IPs. And Lara Croft is definitetly not in the game. It has already been confirmed

and Crash IP is owned by activision.

OT: I think this is just either 1. new PS Store advertising 2. Holiday advertising for the new Slim

I think you guys are doing it to yourselves again. Sony fans have a history of seeing these sort of things and reaching as far as they can with it. To only be super disappointed by what they end up with.

I really don't get why ppl keep making these comments. It's not sony's choice if they make in the game are not. They said they've gone after all the older big name chars and some companies would not let them use the chars.

Source?

Well about to leave work so when I get home I'll consider looking through vids and post i've read over the months.  It's also very likely I'll go home eat and play games since i've been at work all day and I really don't care much to prove something that pretty obvious. Not trying to be an ass but I don't want to lie and say i'll do it when there's a higher chance I won't ^^

It's all well and good people on the internet saying "They should do this!" and "They should do that!"

Fact of the matter is, Sony's gaming division grew on IP's they never owned.  In wanting to make a mascot-based game now, it's come around to bite them in the ass as apparently it's been very tricky to get these characters.

I don't doubt they're trying.  I would fully believe that they've tried to get all 4 of those characters.  But they don't own them in any right, so all they can do is ask (and offer money/incentives) to try and get them.  I've already seen some tweets from someone at Squeenix flat out refusing to allow Lara Croft to be in the game, so that's that one finished (for the time being, at least).

It would be better to question why they bothered to make this game in the first place if they're not going to be able to secure their big name PS1-era IP's, but that's a different story.  They're making the best of what they've got.

MK2 shout out?  I never played as Raiden because I played as Sub Zero mainly.  However, I remember watching Raiden's every move during the scenes when no quarters were in play on MK2.

4 ≈ One

Its more about the game being released imho even tho I have no idea what the girl with the gun means,

ARRIVAL makes no sense when a character would come back. RETURN would be the word to use here not ARRIVAL.

side note: the thing on her desk says SARU! GET YOU Thats from ape escape.
