see other thread: she actually was wrong, and admitted to it after the debate

No, she was right. Obama did call the attacks an act of terror. She said if Romney meant "terrorism" and not terror, than he would have been right. That may be what he meant, but he used the wrong words.

no i showed you guys the speech. he did not. Candy Crowly even admitted to being wrong, after the debate

"No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.  Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America.  We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act.  And make no mistake, justice will be done."

You could argue that Romney meant terrorism, which would be accurate, but that's not what he said.

He said acts of terror, in a speech that mentioned things such as 9/11... and never referred to the incident as one... and followed by referring to it not as a terrorist incidient and spontanious violence for days and days after.

The fact checkers generally back up romney, and the debate moderater admitted she was wrong.

It's really clear cut.

Romney said that Obama didn't call it an act of terror, which he did. He clearly referred to the incident as an act of terror, but not a terrorist attack at that time. There is a difference. If protesters attacked the embassy, or if terrorists attacked the embassy, both would be considered acts of terror. However, it is only a terrorist attack when terrorists are the ones who attacked.

Even Candy Crowley's network, CNN reported that September 20 was the first time the WH called it a "terrorist attack."

http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/20/...

The White House, for the first time Thursday, declared the attack that killed Stevens and three other people a terrorist attack.

no network reported obama admitted it was a terrorist attack. if he had claimed it was, why didnt they report that. they all reported he and his administration blamed the video.

Again... he didn't.  Your just reading it into the transcript because you want to.

Fact - Obama admin said it was a spontaneous reaction based upon a video for weeks. Not a PLANNED terrorist act. This point was lost due to Crowley's intervention.

Crowley did everything she could to defend and protect President Obama during the debates and it shows. Blazed over this issue by intervening where she had no place. She even signed an agreement stipulating this, as well as not asking follow-up questions. Yet despite BOTH campaign's wishes, she did these things.

Did Obama even respond to the Fast and the Furious thing? No. Because Crowley deliberately asked Obama a different question. (Or Romney, can't recall).

I am so discouraged by the Obama administration's lack of transparency on these issues. Infuriating.

She was right about what Obama had said, and called Mitt on it.  She was also right in trying to say that there was a 2 week delay in getting the report out.  This is not a good point for Mitt here.

What Candy Crowley said she was saying. No, it isn't "back tracking":
http://startingpoint.blogs.cnn.com/2012/10/17/why-did-candy-crowley-interject-on-libya-in-debate-she-wanted-to-move-this-along/?hpt=hp_tvbx

But, of course, one is free to spin it as they choose and live in whatever bubble they like.

I would love to see Romney try to campaign on what he does in some other part of the world, and see how well he does.
