However, unlike your mistake... I don't think Obama's was one of semantics.

yes.. im very sure thats something his debate prep team, had him practice that line a lot. it was a very careful and deliberate choice of words he used in the debate.

So have any undecided voters here other than Nintendo pie decide who to vote for finally?

I know who I would vote for if I was able to vote.

Great initiative in thinking there early  on as that would put you ahead of many twice your age.

moon hero I don't think we are watching the same debate. This one is a dick measuring contest by both parties

Nope, watched the same one. Obama smacked him down. Simple as that.

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

So, does anybody think this debate will alter the dynamic of the race at all? By that I mean will it stop the Romney bump in the polls, will he start to slide now? Or will Romney continue to go up in the polls.

It is hard to really figure, because Romney won the first debate by bigger margins than any other debate since they started polling debate wins back in the 70's. However, Kerry beat Bush by large margins and still ended up losing.

Hmmm, that's hard to say!

I don't necessarily think neither did too much worse than the other, from what I would've seen.

Just for the sake of answering; Romney might go down a little, if at all.

I really don't like the Mitt Romney that showed up to this election.  I thought he was amazing when I met him back in 2001 when he was here in Utah organizing the olympics, but during the primary he really turned me off.  I was hoping Jon Huntsman would gain some traction and get the nomination, but he never did.

With that being said, I'm not much of fan of Obama's job performance either.  I supported and voted for Obama in 2008, but I really feel Obama focused on using his super majority to accomplish democrat wish projects instead of working on the economy.

So, I'm faced with two choices I really don't like.  I'm still withholding judgement until after the third debate, but I admit that after the first debate I have been given Romney some more thought.

Of course, whoever I vote for will mean jack squat since I live in Utah, the most republican state in the union.  Utah will go to romney by over 70% no matter what I do.
